How can I recover data from a dead Surface Pro 5 SSD?

If I recall it correctly, the SSD on a Surface Pro 5 is soldered to the motherboard, right? My problem is that my SP5 can no longer boot up and is basically dead. Is there any way I can recover files from the unbootable Surface Pro 5?

To recover data from the Surface Pro 5 that won't boot, you'll need a data recovery tool that allows you to create a recovery boot disk to start your dead computer and retrieve the inaccessible data.

iBoysoft Data Recovery for Windows is recommended for this purpose, as it enables you to rescue data from an unbootable Windows PC, including the Surface Pro series, by creating a WinPE boot media. An additional highlight of this software is its ability to recover data from BitLocker-encrypted hard drives.
