How to fix/repair invalid EFI jumpstart record error?
A few days ago, my Mac suddenly shut down. Now I am neither able to boot the system, nor to mount the disk to read it from Recovery when booting as an external drive. It turned out that there is a problem with the EFI jumpstart record. When checking with Disk Utility, I got the result that "EFI jumpstart record is invalid". I tried to create a disk image for it, but I am having the same problem when trying to mount it. Is there any idea on how to solve this issue, or at least on how to access and save the data?
